A fox studying abroad in a foreign city. In the monotony of everyday life, even its connections with others feel flat, and homesickness grows stronger. Then one day, the fox picks up the curiosity it had lost and finds an answer of its own.

An original animation created with the theme of “Cat Day” on February 22. This work carries a message wishing for the peace and happiness of all cats.

The voices spoken into the entrance turn into lines of light that race along the paths on the table. Following each route, the lines of sound eventually reach the exit, where they change in many different ways—becoming higher-pitched, sounding like a robot’s voice, or resonating like a concert hall—before turning back into sound again. This is an interactive installation where you can enjoy the “journey” of sound by speaking into it in different ways. The name “Yukueon” combines the sense of voices changing tone with a chameleon-like quality, evoking the idea of sound taking different paths.

An animated music video for the song “Mind Replacer” by HOSHIMIYA TOTO + TEMPLIME. The spatial sound of SOZEN, which freely moves in and around space, is visualized through the image of a water flea (a point) and the artist’s avatar (a plane) being merged and separated in sync with the soundscape. The work was created with an emphasis on artist’s identity as a VR singer and the theme of a bodiless existence, elevating experimental elements such as spirituality and spatial expression into something pop.

Music video for “Nectarine,” a song by Macaroni Empitsu created as the theme song for NHK Educational TV’s “Tensai TV-kun.” This full 3DCG visual work features cute, deformed characters and a toon-like cel-shaded look.

Music video for “Bakasé” by 4na. I depicted the repetition of daily life and inner conflict within the circle. It carries encouragement for young people who throw themselves into society.
