Concept movie for Ono Pharmaceutical’s corporate slogan, “BREAK THROUGH.” It depicts, second by second, Ono Pharmaceutical’s more than 300-year history of taking on the challenge of drug discovery, and the spirit and determination behind its unwavering commitment to a single drug.

Opening video used at the opening ceremony of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. The opening ceremony’s theme was “The Relay of Life.” The visuals were designed to work together with the circular walls of the venue and the mountain-shaped screen placed at the center. The video was created as a collage using a variety of methods, including live action, animation, CG, and volumetric scanning.

Inspired by Mr. Kiyoshi Yamashita’s words after seeing the Nagaoka fireworks—“If everyone had made only beautiful fireworks instead of making bombs, then war surely would never have happened”—we added a small story and movement to Mr. Noboru Naito’s graphic design.

Created using collage animation techniques so as to expand the world of warm melodies and uplifting lyrics. The feelings embedded in the lyrics are expressed through sensory graphics.
