複数のエレクトリックギターで紡ぐサウンドスケープアーティスト「monols」のMusic Video For Live Performance。トランス体験を演出。人と月の関係は昔から、近くて遠い。地球の唯一の衛星で、人類が到達したことのある唯一の地球外天体。古代より信仰の対象だったり、ウサギが住んでいたり。また暦を測るツールとして機能し、アポロ計画の時は、人の未来であり、希望だった。コンセプトは、月が踊る夜空。リズムにシンクして月が鼓動のように脈を打ったり、ダンスフロアのミラーボールのように変化。ずっと見続けると月を穴と錯覚し、やがて錯乱する。踊り狂う月と人。フルCGで制作し、曲の波形を取得し、デフォーマやエフェクタでモーフィング。お月見なんかに真っ暗な空間で大爆音とお酒を片手にご覧ください。

In Buddhist terms, it refers to reaching ultimate enlightenment in one leap, without undergoing long and rigorous training. This concept also refers to an instant realization, a sudden epiphany, or a profound understanding, triggered by some kind of trigger. This work depicts the moments before and after sudden enlightenment.

About the Work WOW presented its new art installation, Urban Reflection, at the Clock Tower, a symbol of Hong Kong, from November 8 to 19. Created in collaboration with the local creative agency Way of Difference for ART TECH PARK, a special section of JUMPSTARTER 2023 Tech by the Harbour, a tech startup event held in Hong Kong, the work visually expresses the city’s energy and diversity by symbolically depicting the growth of a city where East and West, urban life and nature, and different races and cultures merge. In a fountain pool with a 27.2 m × 5.4 m water surface, 42 two-sided LED displays approximately 4 meters high and 76 mirrors were installed. As a result, images of Victoria Harbour and skyscrapers were projected, beautifully blending Hong Kong’s neon lights with the radiance of its architecture. Against the backdrop of the skyscrapers stretching across the opposite shore, viewers were immersed in a world where the images on the LED displays were repeatedly reflected by water and mirrors. The installation visually conveyed Hong Kong’s energy and diversity while offering a vision for the future.
