An art animation based on Shotaro Ishinomori’s *Jun*, a manga once said to be difficult to adapt to film, rendered not in cel animation but in a hand-drawn style. With no dialogue, using only music and sound effects, it is a work that speaks to the heart regardless of age or nationality. The film overlays Jun’s episodes with Ishinomaki City’s journey toward recovery from the sense of loss left by the earthquake and disaster, and artistically expresses the idea that through Jun’s growth, dreams can come true if one does not give up, even in difficult circumstances. It is now being permanently screened at the Video Hall of the Ishinomori Manga Museum in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture.
