Tsukasa Inoue, drummer for the jazz-rock piano trio fox capture plan, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and for the evolving lyrical rock band THE JUNEJULYAUGUST, has released a preview of his third solo work, The variety of colors, at the end of this year, and has announced that his debut album will be released next spring on Playwright, the label that fox capture plan belongs to. His talent as a solo track maker has flourished, sparked by a collaboration with freelance CG artist Mei Tamazawa, who creates CG visuals for some of Japan’s largest music festivals, including ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL and COUNTDOWN JAPAN, leading him to also handle the jingle music for COUNTDOWN JAPAN. This latest digital single is also a breakbeat track, notable for its development, which incorporates hardcore drum breaks into a mellow beat.
