Held at the National Art Center, Tokyo in Roppongi, Tokyo, “MANGA City TOKYO: Japan’s Manga, Anime, Game, and Tokusatsu 2020”
This exhibition was a homecoming project for “MANGA⇔TOKYO,” which was held in Paris, France in 2018 and drew more than 30,000 visitors.
By collaging exhibition archives from La Villette in Paris, scenes of Tokyo, and the elements on display, the overall image of the exhibition was reconstructed.
