A mini-segment within the anime Pop Team Epic. Following the first season released in 2018, this work is the second season.
An omnibus format featuring multiple filmmakers. While based on the original work, it was produced with an emphasis on developing a distinct style.
In Episode 7, “Rising Hell: Hellshake Yano,” which AC-bu handled in its entirety, the work is an experimental piece shot in a single live-action take using about 20 sketchbooks, despite being an animated production. In addition, the Pop Team Epic anime changes voice actors between the first 15 minutes and the latter 15 minutes, and Episode 7 also drew attention because one voice actor—the legendary Japanese voice actor Koichi Yamadera—performed all roles.
