In 2021, Coconala renewed its logo design. We produced motion graphics featuring the new logo. From the graphic direction that makes the most of brisk, rhythmic cut transitions, to the colorful spreading circles that express “diversity,” lines extend outward and connect, and three colors intertwine to create new colors. By having six colors gather together in a bundle, the work expresses “connection” and the widening of possibilities.

Description: The recently popular “mobile Pokémon TCG game” is a mobile game where you collect virtual Pokémon cards and compete against opponents using those cards. As a motion designer myself, this work was created from the imagination of “If I were a Pokémon, what kind of skills and traits would I use to appeal to people?” By fusing the fields of 2D and faux 3D, this piece reinterprets them as an engaging motion animation.

I created the storyboard with the character’s cool-cute vibe and the expansiveness of the world view as its core.
