Nikkei Electronic Edition digital advertisement. This work turns illustrations by illustrator and manga artist Miku Masuda into a motion comic; in the first half of the video, it depicts a young man and woman gaining insight through small moments in their everyday lives. The design in the second half adds linear visuals to create contrast, expressing a shift in their previously passive feelings.

This is the second scene from the next work I’m creating on my own. My own approach to CG character expression has now taken shape for the time being. I’ve also developed a unique rigging environment, making it possible to animate putting on and taking off clothes by hand.
