UNIQLO and MARNI “Silk Furoshiki Scarf” Promotional Video

As part of the Winter 2022 collection for “UNIQLO and MARNI,” we produced the promotional movie and how-to video for the vividly patterned “Silk Furoshiki Scarf.” We were responsible for both direction and production.
Using stop-motion animation as the filming technique, the video depicts imaginary creatures being wrapped in the furoshiki scarf, highlighting that this item can be used not only as a scarf but also in two ways as a furoshiki.
In addition, to emphasize the act of wrapping, the video is constructed not with people wrapping the scarf, but with characters, props, and a robot arm all dressed in the colors of the Silk Furoshiki Scarf, creating a distinctive world as they move on their own and become wrapped.
The finished video is now available not only on UNIQLO’s official website, but also on UNIQLO Global’s official Instagram.
