Nickelodeon SONIC

A music video of a university student singing to a remote control in their room late at night. This work seeks to depict one’s own place of being through the contrasts and cycles of “day and night” and “inside and outside.”

Artwork for SKYTOPIA’s EP “Inner Layers,” by the Tokyo-based producer/DJ. Featuring four tracks in total: two new songs, the melodic, driving 4x4 groove “Denim Skies” and the weighty, bass-heavy 2-step track “Into The Unknown,” along with the pre-released “Rain” and “Pressure” (with Ogasawara), both of which have gained underground support. The release reimagines the influence of UK club music and a melodic sensibility through a distinctly Tokyo perspective.
