In conjunction with the launch of KATE’s new liquid foundation, “Real Cover Liquid,” which achieves both high coverage and a natural skin-like finish, this film expresses the product concept, “A New Frontier in High Coverage,” through a visually confusing presentation of virtual humans “imma” and “Ria,” along with the real human “SAORI,” who is active as an android big sister. By blurring who is a virtual human and who is a real human, the film conveys not only the product concept, but also contemporary values and notions of beauty in which the boundaries between the real and the unreal are gradually disappearing.

Description: Japan’s first virtual human, imma, unveils her debut collection for Amazon Fashion’s “The Drop.” imma creates virtual fashion herself using 3DCG, and The Drop turns it into real clothing. The film depicts imma walking through the streets of Tokyo with friends wearing pieces from her collection.
