Working inside a search engine is hard work. Data comes pouring in every day, nonstop, like lightning. I want to cherish the hardworking little dogs that search through the vast sea of ever-expanding data and deliver the data that’s been requested. The data space is a new place created by humankind, and this work depicts the landscape that spreads out within it.

Multidimensional visual expression

We aimed for visuals that would leave a lingering sense of unease when combining live-action backgrounds with manga-style illustrations, and for an immersive emotional experience created by linking the speed of the scenes with the music.

Music video for Meito’s song “Light Years.” The song’s city pop and slightly retro feel is expressed through the video’s textures and 3DCG. In addition, live-action footage of roads shot with long exposure was incorporated into the CG to create a dynamic sense of speed.
