An art projection work using the wall of the JAXA Science and Technology Museum at the Tanegashima Space Art Festival 2023.
Since ancient times, Tanegashima has been a place where the Kuroshio Current and the East China Sea Current collide, a final destination of the world where cultures drift ashore.
Tanegashima is also the starting point from which that culture spreads throughout Japan.
It is also the point of departure from which rockets launch into space from around the world.
It is as if Tanegashima were a black hole in another universe and a white hole in this one.
This work is a fantastical journey through space, depicting the mysterious Tanegashima as a singularity from a perspective beyond dimensions.
