MOMENTUM
2025
00:00:39
A first work by PLUG IN, inspired by an artwork by illustrator Tomoya Soejima that depicts the loneliness he felt when he moved to Tokyo, as well as his frustration with impersonal human relationships.
Motion designer Ken Muroi, who was also involved in launching Unplug, breathes life into the completed still-image world by infusing it with “movement,” turning it into a film.
With trackmaker in the blue shirt on board, the visuals and beats blend together as the image shifts from monochrome to vivid color, drawing viewers from silence to release, and from a sense of confinement to a sense of dynamism.
