The video unfolds with a simple structure, moving from a viewpoint just above the ground and passing through countless lanterns and candles. Each light, however, carries meaning. The many different kinds of lanterns and candles represent the differences in people’s lives, while the scene in which the flames are extinguished by heavy rain symbolizes hardship and loss. Toward the end, an overwhelming number of fireworks are launched, expressing the brilliance and wonder of life. On the technical side, to keep the camera centered on the ground while still bringing the fireworks in the sky into the frame, careful attention was paid to every detail, such as wetting the ground to reflect the sky.
