Description: A comedic short-form animated series of dialogue-driven sketches featuring the protagonist Matsuda Meisaku, who aims to become a masterpiece himself, along with his eccentric classmates. By blending contemporary themes with classic stories, such as “The Three Little Pigs Who Dream of Becoming YouTubers” and “Cinderella the Tsundere,” it creates high-quality humor that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. The series began in 2016 on NHK E Tele’s “Bit World” and aired up to 230 episodes. It also released 14 episodes of “Ryugu Junior High Arc,” produced with funds raised through crowdfunding. Selected by the Japan Media Arts Festival Jury as a recommended work. Total views on its YouTube channel have surpassed 400 million.

This work was created when I participated in a social media lettering project by designer JEFF99 (@nesspaula99), in which participants freely designed and presented the Japanese numerals from “one” to “ten.” By adding movement to familiar shapes, I composed the piece so that small discoveries and moments of surprise could be seen throughout. Main production tools: Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Autodesk 3ds Max Music used: Ian Post, “Variation 1” from Artlist https://artlist.io/royalty-free-music/song/variation-1/88071
