In a way that embodies the world of the lyrics, the protagonist, Kaf, changes form one after another and travels through time, rediscovering the joy of writing a novel.
In the dream scenes, the drawings are strongly hand-drawn, with lines as the main focus and little use of shading, whereas in the real scenes, footage of the actual sky is composited in, the use of lines is conversely restrained, and buildings and other elements are rendered more realistically.
This creates a contrast in the mood of each sequence while also aligning the story’s themes with the themes of its visual expression.
