Where is Mr. Regent headed?

Showreel by Shuji Hirai. Its distinctive features are cinematic visuals that look striking no matter which moment you capture, and graphic direction that moves fluidly between 2D and 3D.

As part of the “Sea and Japan PROJECT,” an initiative promoted by the Nippon Foundation with the aim of sparking children’s interest and curiosity about the sea and expanding the circle of action toward solving ocean-related issues, “Umi Dance” was developed to clearly convey to children the crises facing Japan’s oceans and the importance of the sea. In this work, the choreography expresses the sea with the whole body, and the song incorporates themes such as environmental issues facing the ocean and a growing concern for the sea, aiming to unite feelings about the ocean while everyone from children to adults enjoys dancing together.

This song and animation depict the strange clock made by Dr. Henteko, the “flying clock,” soaring off into the city.
