グラミー賞受賞アーティスト、ジェイコブ・ コリアーの4 枚組新アルバムの中から、第一弾のリードシングルとして発表された 「With The Love In My Heart」のミュージックビデオを JKD が企画、制作いたしました。 1994 年ロンドン生まれ、二十代半ばにしてすでにグラミー賞 2 部門の受賞経験のあるジェイコブ・コリアーにより発表される 4 枚組アルバムの中から、第一弾のリードシングルとして発表された「With The Love In My Heart」のミュージックビデオを JKD が企画、制作いたしました。 様々な楽器を巧みに弾きこなすマルチインストゥルメンタリストでもある天才ミュージシャン、ジェイコブ・コリアーの多面的な音楽性を表現するために、鏡を使ったアイデアをもとにしたミュージックビデオが企画されました。楽曲のコンセプト(歌詞)は、ジェイコブが愛を探して、それを見つけるまでの旅を描いたもの。6:45 の長編トラックは、5つの異なる要素をドラマチックに展開される構成となっています。 今回の MV では、そのジェイコブが愛を見つけるための旅を、スタジオに設置した鏡のセットによる反射と、CG 合成による映像を融合させ、ジェイコブが、現実と空想、正気と狂気の世界を行ったり来たりしつつ、様々な視覚的マジックを呼び起こしながら、鏡の中の五次元の世界を旅するストーリーとして、ダイナミックに表現しています。

Description: I received a long letter from Mr. Shijin describing the rich life his family leads deep in the mountains, and I created this piece while imagining that way of life. He said it was made with the image of a “sound baby,” so I didn’t think about it too deeply; instead, I made a video that would leave babies with a sense of wonder, excitement, and a little fear when they watch it, something that stimulates the senses through sight and touch. It was produced using stop-motion and line-drawing animation.
