MV for MyGO!!!!!’s new song “Yokaze.” Inspired by the song, its lyrics, and the imagery evoked by the title, the visuals were directed to make “night” and “wind” symbolic elements. Since the setting of BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! is Ikebukuro, the cityscapes in the work highlight scenes from Ikebukuro and memorable locations from the anime.

A promotional video created to coincide with the release of Volume 20 of Jujutsu Kaisen, synchronizing 13 digital signage displays in front of Shibuya Station. A simulator recreating the area in front of Shibuya Station was built in Unreal Engine, with careful attention paid to the placement and staging within a space seen from different perspectives and angles. The sound is arranged in surround, making this a promotional piece that turns the area in front of Shibuya Station into a theater-like experience, where the way the music is heard changes depending on where you stand.

Pony Canyon’s new project, PRELUDERS The HERO LICENSE music video, composed by Masayoshi Oishi Character designs by POKImari. It was produced by combining animated drawings, illustrations, and motion graphics.

A special video piece that delves into Hakushi Hasegawa as a person by turning his interview audio, in which he answers 13 questions, into newly shot visuals. By watching 13 loosely unified omnibus segments created with a variety of techniques—2D motion graphics, full CG, live action, and more—alongside Hasegawa’s elusive words, the work becomes something that can be interpreted in many different ways, both in terms of what he says and what he does not say.

Music video for the opening theme song of the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen. It was re-edited into a music video using footage from the anime itself and other production materials. By blending lyric typography featuring the original manga’s title design into each shot, the video conveys the song’s sense of speed through its rapid succession of cuts.

I helped with the production of video content for the World Para Athletics Championships / World Para Swimming Championships. To help people discover what makes para sports so interesting, we worked with NHK to develop highlight and rules videos. I was involved starting with World Para Swimming, then wheelchair rugby, and Para Athletics. We always start by having all the staff study the rules of the para sports, but when we actually go to watch the matches, we are overwhelmed by their power, and each time it makes us think about what disability really is. Para athletics is fused with cutting-edge technology, so records can sometimes surpass those from the Olympics. In terms of extending human ability, I think it will continue to attract even more attention in the future in the context of body hacking and transhumanism.
