This is the music video for Niru Kajitsu’s song “Haruni.” I aimed for a visual style that evokes a stage set.

To depict the lights of cities and suburban neighborhoods as if they were models of stars, a miniature-photography-like tilt-shift technique was used.

“Wink” dissolved, the girl became a mother, and we were born. No more rays of light fall on the dance floor; telephone lines no longer carry love. No one is left on the station platform where the girl once waited for someone. And yet that platform is still waiting for the girl somewhere, even now. Like an empty aquarium still waiting for that lonely tropical fish. — for "The Blank Room in a Dream"
