Profile: Filmmaker. Born in 1983. Born in Shiga Prefecture. Graduated in 2006 from the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Letters, Doshisha University, with a concentration in Journalism. While still in university, he began teaching himself video and animation production; after graduation, he moved to Tokyo and began working as a freelance filmmaker. He specializes in visual compositions that meticulously fuse image and music through animation, live action, 3DCG, and motion graphics, as well as in constructing original narratives by deeply exploring lyrics, advertising products, and more. He works primarily on music videos and commercials. His solo works, including “the TV show” and “Kore Kurai de Utau,” have won numerous awards and been screened at film festivals and competitions in Japan and abroad, and have accumulated over 3 million views on YouTube. Since 2013, he has also expanded his activities into Europe, centered in Prague, Czech Republic. As the director of the 3D concert “Vivaldianno 2015,” it was staged in more than 15 countries, including the UK, Germany, and the Czech Republic, attracting over 200,000 attendees, an exceptional figure for a classical concert.
