Born in 1975. Began VJing around 1992. Joined MTV Japan after winning the Grand Prix in the 1995 MTV Station-ID Contest. After working at P.I.C.S., became a freelancer. In 2009, founded SMALT Inc.
With CG as the core of his work, he handles both the direction and CG production for commercials, music videos, large-scale special-format visuals, projection mapping, and fulldome experiences such as planetariums.
In recent years, he has expanded beyond conventional frames, specializing in the direction of concert visuals, the design of park illumination using video, and productions featuring water screens and boats, creating a wide range of spatial experiences of all sizes through the use of music and visuals.
