Born in the United States and raised in Japan, I have developed my identity through experiencing Japan’s nature, culture, climate, and people from both within and outside the country, cultivating a perspective that is both intimate and objective. Having progressed to directing through the steps of creating sound, capturing images, and shaping visuals, I am able to take a holistic view of the entire production process and engage in every stage of filmmaking.
