Commissioned by adidas UK, we produced a documentary film about shoemaster Toshiaki Omori, who is based in Kobe. It was created for the social channels of Size, a shoe retailer with dozens of stores across Europe. This film gets to the heart of the creativity of a shoe creator who has long earned worldwide attention and respect in the footwear industry. The film was directed by Kousai Sekine. With sharp, dimensional visuals, a track by Fukuoka-based beatmaker Olive Oil, and interview comments packed with punchlines, every element is tightly synchronized in this crisp work, which received high praise from a European client that stays one step ahead in the field of content marketing.

A design you can touch. A design you can bask in. In the middle of Tokyo, in Midtown, vegetables are growing now. Inside a greenhouse, they soak up the sun, photosynthesize, and absorb water to live. Their leaves, roots, flowers, and fruits—their shapes and colors—are the survival strategies of living organisms, and are design itself. First, touch the seven forms of life that thrive in the soil. Then, let your body be immersed in the design of vegetables, expanded through images and sound.

A 90-minute audiovisual concert inspired by the life of composer Antonio Vivaldi, blending classical music with 3D projection. Produced in the Czech Republic, with Sugimoto in charge of all visual direction. Performed in more than 15 countries around the world, including the UK, Germany, and Dubai, it drew an unprecedented total audience of over 200,000 for a classical concert.

Description: There are places that somehow feel nostalgic even when you’re visiting them for the first time. Perhaps those places are landscapes you once saw in the womb. Inspired by that idea, this film journeys through a series of landscapes from memory. Taking “movement in the womb,” the inspiration drawn from the music, as its theme, this work visualizes the idea of “what kind of landscape would emerge if prenatal memories were turned into images?”

We created a new opening video for Fuji TV’s “News JAPAN.” Using an optical illusion-like visual, it expresses the idea that “the way things look changes depending on the perspective from which they are viewed.”

Music video for the song “Krosna” by popular Czech singer Barbora Poláková. This unique song compares life to a backpack, and is brought to life in a miniature world woven together by paper animation and various everyday objects spilling out of a backpack. Although it has the look of stop-motion animation, everything was created entirely in 3DCG. This adds to the warmth of traditional stop-motion animation while also allowing for bolder camera work, tighter synchronization with the lyrics, and seamless transitions.
