I was responsible for the motion. The design, composed of animation data and lyrics, is packed with information even though each cut is short. Within the fast-paced editing, I carefully planned where to place priority when adding motion so that the lyrics, the characters’ emotions, and the roles they play would come across clearly. I also considered what should be moving to feel good at a moment’s glance.

Featured work in the 3rd phase of the Towada Art Center special exhibition commemorating the 10th anniversary of Arts Towada, “Inter + Play.” Living creatures, artificial objects, shapes, lines. When disparate things meet within the same frame, a new direction emerges between them. Wanting to feel that as a physical sensation, the objects keep pursuing it endlessly. A tactile animation that surrenders itself to image.

Ending video for the TV anime Dr. Stone An ED that uses sand itself—the key element carried over from the previous season. Careful work was carried out to ensure that the world, the characters’ feel, and Anly’s music were all preserved. In addition, we worked closely with the filming team and made sure to structure the data in a way that would make finishing the piece easier.
