A conversational comedy short anime featuring the protagonist, Matsuda Meisaku, who aspires to become a masterpiece himself, along with his eccentric classmates. By blending modern themes with a variety of classic works—such as “three little pigs aiming to become YouTubers” and “a tsundere Cinderella”—it creates high-quality humor that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. The series began in 2016 on NHK E Tele’s “Bitworld” and aired through Season 6 (230 episodes). It was selected as a Jury Recommended Work at the Japan Media Arts Festival organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Its YouTube channel has surpassed 300 million total views.

The power of sumo is expressed through rough illustration and CG animation. A 15-second edited version was used for the opening of AbemaTV’s Grand Sumo Digest. It was also created as an homage to the unfinished masterpiece manga series Batibachi, and as a tribute to its author.
