“全員がヒロイン”をコンセプトに制作したMusic Videoです。 誰か一人の主人公を描くのではなく、 それぞれが自分なりの「可愛くなりたい」「変わりたい」という感情を抱えながら過ごす青春を、群像劇として表現しました。 学校、海、花火といった“青春の象徴”の中で、 メンバー同士の距離感や視線、何気ない仕草を大切にし、 「好き」「憧れ」「自己肯定感」が少しずつ重なっていく空気感を映像全体で描いています。 また、“ヒロイン化計画”という裏テーマを設け、 誰かに選ばれる物語ではなく、 “自分自身がヒロインになっていく過程”を表現しました。 ダンスやリップシーンだけではなく、 メンバー全員で一つの青春を共有しているような熱量や空気感を重視し、 MVとドキュメンタリーの中間のような感覚で演出しています。

The 21st installment of "JapEn," a collaboration video project that caps off a year of pen spinning in Japan.

I was responsible for some of the illustrations in the music video for Akami Karubi’s debut single, “ABEKOBE.” I drew various scenes of little Karubi.

This music video commemorates Shugo Tokumaru’s 10th anniversary since his debut, and also serves as a tribute piece for the 100th anniversary of Norman McLaren’s birth. Homages to McLaren are scattered throughout the work. The characters’ outlines are drawn with felt-tip pens and animated.
