AIRS｜2005｜9 min 11 sec｜Animation A puppet animation centered on text read aloud by a middle-aged gentleman. The hybridization of “educational television” and sci-fi imagery is an experiment that continues from Hekohyon 7 (2004), while the number of cuts is reduced and the music has been removed, leaving only ambient sound, making this a static work with an aesthetic in contrast to the previous piece. It mainly employs hand-made techniques such as stop-motion animation using original model figures, sets, and background paintings, while also mixing in motion graphics and compositing using the video editing software Adobe After Effects. “Girin Art Project 2005” (2005) Girin Award winner (double feature with Hekohyon 7)
