By blending private footage, live-action fluids, and generative AI, I tried to visualize the personal texture and sensation of the sound. I would be delighted if you could also feel the universality of the lyrics, which still resonate today, through the visuals. The fluid seen in the MV is actually the wax from a Lava Lamp in my home. Using the simple principles of gravity and temperature, this man-made object creates an organic landscape like “wind.” To me, the Lava Lamp is a brilliant invention. This work is based on an original interpretation of Night on the Galactic Railroad. While the original has a strong pastoral image, I also wanted to add an urban image to it from my own perspective. By the way, the one skating through the galactic city in the work is Campanella.
