I created 12 square tile-like motion compositions and arranged them so that they move in sync with the music and the direction of the motion, giving the piece a seamless and varied expression. The title PALEPOLE is a coined word combining the English words “pale” and “pole,” and is pronounced “parepole.” Since I made it in winter and it was cold, I used a blue color palette, and from thinking that it gave off an Arctic-like feel, I came up with the name.
