Music video included on the first-press bonus edition of rapper-singer DAOKO’s second album. Since the song title is “Boku,” we developed the idea of “selfies and Instagram,” and because it was also meant to be an animated MV, we planned to use photographs for the backgrounds in order to reduce production time while improving quality. Based on that, we proposed a plot in which “while playing with an AR selfie app, you get sucked into an AR world and drift through cyberspace.” In keeping with lyrics that suggest DAOKO, after her major-label debut, gained new fans while also losing old ones, the MV depicts high school–aged daoko confronting the post-major-debut DAOKO, with the unsettling story gradually unfolding as her personality is peeled away, like a broken link on a website.

The first coupling MV after the group changed its name from Keyakizaka46 to Sakurazaka46. It expresses their journey up to now and the characters conveyed through the lyrics, through a simple yet refined beauty and the dynamism of their dance performance. While following Keyakizaka's expression of the individual versus the collective, the visuals were directed so that their expressions appear even more captivating within a new interpretation.

Music video for Manami Kakudo’s “Mado kara Mieru.” This video was created with the idea that music and image in a music video should not merge into a single entity, but rather continue to exist in a multilayered relationship. In film, the role of a theme song is to make the film itself more complex. Yamagata sought to translate Kakudo’s sincere and straightforward approach to music and performance into a visual work with the strength to be appreciated from multiple, more complex perspectives.

Produced the music video for “After That,” a song that brought back Misora Hibari’s singing voice using VOCALOID:AI. Takeshi Kitano, Lily Franky, EXILE ATSUSHI, Rino Sashihara, Nijiro Murakami, and Sena Nakajima. With the thought that “After That” is not just a song to reminisce about the past, but a song for the future, we had people from different generations, from 72 years old to 13 years old, each living with their own distinctive perspectives and values, listen to the song, and portrayed their raw emotions and words in portrait form.
