I made this with the intention of updating a hip-hop video classic in Japan.

More than proper, sensible people, I’m drawn to eccentrics because they’re more honest. This is the story of a slightly unusual girl who lives by a lake. It asks what “the beauty of staying true to one’s own way of life” really means.

Created infographics using illustration and animation techniques. The piece is simple and stylish, while clearly presenting the content. It also incorporates carefully designed transitions that connect the previous shot to the next, as well as visual guidance to direct the viewer’s eye.
