This is an animated music video for the August–September song "Mushi no Tsubuyaki" on NHK Minna no Uta. It tells the story of a girl who finds herself in the world of insects and meets insects with all kinds of worries. While listening to the song, I felt that our own strengths can also become weaknesses or sources of worry, and I wanted to create a lovely work that gently accompanies the troubled insects, much like asking someone who seems to be struggling, “What’s wrong?” I also paid attention to the colors of each scene and the character designs so that the process of meeting each insect would feel enjoyable and visually charming.
