―― Inside this building, any wish will surely come true. ...But whether it leads to happiness is another matter. The five-story, 88-year-old mixed-use building “Babel Ninetynine” is the setting. The protagonist is Mitsuya Kuzaku (Fuma Kikuchi), a rookie building manager. While dreaming of becoming a screenwriter, he is constantly tossed around by his director-aspiring best friend Ken Goto (Yugo Kochi) and the building’s eccentric tenants, until one day he wanders from a storage room in the basement into a false world called “Babel,” where every dream comes true. However, once you say a certain phrase, you can never return to the real world... A story so ridiculously cramped — and yet so grand — that anyone will find the courage to take the first step toward their dreams!
