Second in a video series introducing the sport of lacrosse. Through game highlights and memorable plays, this video focuses on the appeal of lacrosse as a sport to watch. We paid particular attention to how to convey the excitement of being at the game—its tension, strategic back-and-forth, and fast-paced action—through video.

Hand-drawn animation created using Clip Studio Paint. To achieve a warm, organic feel, it was made frame by frame like traditional animation, without using copy & paste or moving elements. The model is my beloved dog, Isobe. The title is read as "Dockk" A coined word combining "dog" and "cook"

Explored new forms of visual expression using 3DCG. Tried to convey sensations such as the temperature and smell of a rainy day through video.

The viewer themselves enters this virtual world, where they can explore and play. “Hakoniwa,” a pun combining the words for “box” and “garden,” is indeed the perfect environment for the playful creativity that the piece inspires. After your face is 3D scanned, you fall through the sky as a character in this world, quickly adopting the amusing routines of the other citizens, such as dancing around and occasionally dropping your face on the ground. Simple controls allow for interaction with other characters and their environment, as the cycle of life, creation, and destruction keeps the world in a state of constant change. By 3D-scanning the face, the viewer becomes an avatar and can step into the virtual space on the spot. Using a classic game controller to observe and play tricks on oneself, the viewer experiences something different from the real world.
