Music video for “Color Passion,” the May 2025 learning song from NHK E-Tele’s “The Wakey Show.” This song is performed by a character named “Marigool,” who is well versed in art, with the theme of “a song that teaches you how to mix paint colors.” Using a puppetry technique known in Japan as “face-revealing puppet manipulation,” which is still relatively unfamiliar there, the production was directed with a focus on making both the puppets and the human performers look wonderful. In addition to visual direction, I was also responsible for creating the background art and for editing (everything through compositing, excluding color grading).
