A “muchūjin” is someone who is totally absorbed and passionate about something, regardless of form or genre. As contact lenses that support every pair of eyes that’s immersed in what they love, Cincia 1day S, a daily disposable soft contact lens, gently backs the enthusiasm of those muchūjin. With the tagline, “The eyes of muchūjin are always busy,” this commercial presents the process of artist Choo Hikaru—who is both a muchūjin and a contact lens user—creating a work, through visuals and music that you can’t help but get absorbed in yourself.

Their appearance has changed, and will continue to change over time through oxidation. ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー An ambiguous dimension between 2D (plane) and 3D (solid). The austere, unadorned beauty of metal’s inorganic quality, and the beauty of forms that organically transform from plane to solid. Oxidation over time brings changes to their expressions, drawing time itself into their being.
