NEW MEDIA / RYO the SKYWALKER (Official music video)

2022
00:04:26
In this work, RYO the SKYWALKER’s negative image of the modern media is brought to life. Transforming into “Kong,” he rampages through the world, purifying a realm made up of negative words. It is a piece that visually conveys the message embedded in the song in a direct way. Together with the energy of reggae, it was created with the aim of delivering that message straight to the audience.

2019

Description: For NHK General TV, we planned and produced a projection show as one segment of the NHK Special series “The Origins of Food” ~ The “Ideal Diet” Revealed by Human Evolution. To explore the origins of food-related themes, TOKIO members trace the history of evolution back to the ancestors of humankind in “The Origins of Food Time Machine,” which depicts the history of evolution. https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/ You can watch the broadcast projection show here. ◆ Part 1 https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/series/01/ ◆ Part 2 https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/series/02/ ◆ Part 3 https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/series/03/ ◆ Part 4 https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/series/04/ We also planned and produced the digital content “The Origins of Food Time Machine,” featured in the “What Is Delicious?” exhibition held at Shibuya Scramble Square, where visitors can actually experience the “600 Million-Year Journey of Food and Human Evolution” that TOKIO experienced in the program. https://www.nhk.or.jp/plusx/event/oishii/

@cosme「ART OF SHOPPING」

2020
We planned and produced the generative movie “ART OF SHOPPING,” which plays on the display behind the register inside the new experiential flagship shop “@cosme TOKYO” in front of JR Harajuku Station. “ART OF SHOPPING” is a video work that uses product images and product information, along with purchase times and other purchase-related data (POS data) from items bought at @cosme TOKYO, to generate kaleidoscope-like patterns in real time. By combining this with a range of @cosme’s proprietary data, such as review counts and Best Cosmetics awards, we developed a system that visually generates a wide variety of designs from the store’s most recent data. Furthermore, when the store is busy, the kaleidoscopic designs move more dynamically, allowing purchasing behavior within the store itself to be reflected in real time.

Description: For the special exhibition “The Human Body: A Challenge to the Mysteries,” held at the National Museum of Nature and Science in Ueno from March 13, 2018, we planned and produced the installation “Jintai NETWORK SYMPHONY.” Visitors can experience the beautiful, bustling “vast network within the human body” as revealed by the latest science. In conjunction with this exhibition period, we also produced special web content featuring a 3D simulation of the exhibit (PC only). You can experience the visualization as if you were actually inside “Jintai NETWORK SYMPHONY.” https://www.nhk.or.jp/kenko/jintai/networksymphony/
