Description: JKD planned and produced “Water Baby,” a brand film for the Australian-born swimwear brand Speedo. Centered on the fundamental question, “Why do humans swim?”, the film offers a profound reexamination of the relationship between people and water through the remarkable underwater performance of former Olympic medalist and synchronized swimmer Raika Fujii. The music was composed by Jun Miyake, the world-renowned musician who also drew attention for his bold arrangement of “Kimigayo” performed at the closing ceremony of the Rio Olympics. The powerful Bulgarian chorus evokes a sense of life’s imprint, giving the work a striking and intense finish.
