PwC Japan : Audio VIsual Installation
2018
00:03:49
At the entrance of PwC Japan’s office in Otemachi, Tokyo, a consulting firm with more than 200,000 staff across 158 countries, a permanent audio-visual installation produced by JKD in collaboration with the architecture and design firm Gensler has been installed.
For this project, an animation work was created for a 5-meter-high, 5-meter-wide wall, making use of calligraphy by the calligrapher Ukyo Kamigori, which had previously been on display there. Led by creative director Norimichi Asai and created in collaboration with calligrapher Mami and animator Hideki Inaba, the installation transforms dynamic brushstrokes into rich colors, creating a space that evokes a refined Japanese aesthetic. The sound design, by Daisuke Tanabe, draws viewers into the serene yet richly decorative animation.
