An original song by the unit miComet, featuring Sakura Miko and Hoshimachi Suisei. This work is themed around an “infinite loop,” and within the tone of its pop sound, it seeks to add depth as a visual piece by subtly weaving in a faint sense of unease and dissonance during the interlude. This animation expresses the story of the song’s theme of “loss and rebirth.” A man who has lost everything touches a certain painting, and in that instant, it is as if a “memory-recovery device” has been activated: lost memories overflow back to him, and he once again confronts the past. The video portrays a journey toward renewal, in which frozen time begins to move again.
