"Pikkaan!" Giga & TeddyLoid meets Matsuda Rina & Morita Hikaru "Pokémon" ED Theme

I directed and produced the music video for “Pikkan!”, the ending theme for the TV anime Pokémon. With “adventure” as the theme, I created the music video. It is the story of an adventure in which a breakdancer and a girl skater meet on the street, battle, and evolve. For the special animation, we filmed live-action performances by pro dancer ASHITAKA and pro skater Riku Kanemoto of SNACK, and Hiroo Sakimura handled the animation direction and key animation.

Oishi Masayoshi “Shinda!” music video. The somewhat shocking title and the world of the video were based on a mix of American retro B-movie horror and otaku culture. It is composed of a live-action Oishi and Zombie Oishi, whose character design was created by animator Hano. The horror-filled world was depicted through animation and live action with projected backgrounds.

A theater video for the 10th anniversary exhibition of Madoka Magica, “Puella Magi Madoka Magica 10 (Exhibition).” The scenes by Inu Curry were reimagined by Leole of A4A. Focusing on the witch scenes, we employed a wide range of techniques, including motion graphics, to create an emotional portrayal of the magical girls.

Description: A future illness within the VR world, Virtual Love Reality Syndrome. It depicts the daily life of a girl living in a future world plagued by a chaotic love disease called Reality Syndrome. The setting is NEO Tokyo, a VR world. Although it is a live-action music video, it is portrayed as if it were a virtual world. The CG expression was intentionally constructed in a loose, chaotic way, using soft polygonal CG, glitches, and more. It makes extensive use of programmatic CG techniques, including 3D scanning and photogrammetry. The programmatic CG portions were created by Go Sato.
