We planned and produced “Okitegami,” a tie-up music video with multi-artist Vaundy for Morisawa Fonts, Morisawa’s cloud-based font service that leads Japan’s font industry. We also handled the production of the special website released alongside the music video. https://okitegami.morisawafonts.com/ This work is a Font Specimen Music Video that uses 77 fonts provided by Morisawa Fonts, including Gothic and Mincho typefaces, and colors the lyrics with a wide variety of fonts like a font specimen book. Centered on the “magic words” featured in the song that Vaundy wrote specially for this collaboration, we used different fonts to match the meaning, weight, fragility, and emphasis of the lyrics, resulting in a vibrant music video that conveys the emotions of the lyrics more powerfully.

We planned and produced a TV commercial for “Snow Sand,” a winter-only baked confection created by the sweets brand “SNOWS,” which launched in 2021. https://snows-winter.com/ As SNOWS’s first-ever commercial, we focused on how to bring the brand’s world to life on screen, and arrived at the idea of animating the works of printmaker Kazuyoshi Otani, whose art is also featured on the packaging, as faithfully as possible. By combining only the individual elements from Otani’s various print works, we depict the memory of a winter walk, with footprints as the protagonist. Designed to feel deliberately open and unhurried, the commercial offers viewers a slightly mysterious, relaxed moment when it airs among other information-heavy ads.

["The God’s Room in Osaka"] The god of Osaka, who loves Osaka dearly. By directly sending messages to people’s hearts, he works to spread the word about “Osaka Channel.” This series offers a glimpse into the god’s little-known private life. Four installments produced.

The process from planning and shooting to finishing the video is expressed with graphic beauty. All of the props and paper crafts appearing in the video are handmade. Produced as a video for vertical signage.
