Sanrio’s VR amusement park, the VR show at Sanrio Virtual Puroland, Spooky ‘n’ Sweet Mansion. An immersive show where you can enjoy an interactive experience in VR space. A show in which you explore a haunted house and move the story forward by solving problems together with Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty. The video for Spooky ‘n’ Sweet Mansion was directed by BUSSAN and filmed within VR space.

We aimed to create a visual presentation that conveys the work’s lively pacing and the appeal of each character.

Natsuki, the protagonist, lives alone in a two-room, two-kitchen public housing apartment. There are all kinds of things happening in the outside world, but the home she has filled little by little with things she loves is her own “castle.” It depicts places where adult women can return to their true selves, and the world of longing they continue to hold in their hearts.
