We planned and produced “MoAR – Museum of AR,” an art gallery where you can experience large-scale digital artworks in AR, using the coworking building WHEREVER in Roppongi, Tokyo, as a canvas. In addition to our original works, such as a logo leaping out from a sign, a giant monster roaming the building, a swarm of ghosts inhabiting the building being sucked away, and a giant figure peering out from inside the building, we also collaborated with a total of 24 artists active across a wide range of fields, including Inae, Yukishita Mayu, and others. In all, you can experience 28 AR mural artworks at once. By using App Clips, we eliminated the need to download an app, allowing visitors to simply scan the QR codes painted on the building’s exterior walls and view works by a variety of artists in AR.

“Rakugaki AR” is an app that brings to life the dream everyone has imagined: “What if the things I draw came to life...?” Whether it’s a doodle drawn in a notebook or on a whiteboard, when you scan it with this app, it comes to life and starts walking around in a virtual space through your smartphone. Feed it, poke it, and play around with your doodles brought to life. The iOS version was released early on Saturday, August 1, 2020, and reached 460,000 downloads within five days of launch. “Space Hoppers” is a new trampoline attraction jointly developed with Namco. By leveraging projection mapping and sensing technology, it offers an experience as if you were taking part in a space race. A proprietary sensor detects the trampoline’s jumping position and approximate height, and this increases your speed as you hop along a course through outer space toward the finish line. You can experience it at “TONDEMI,” a next-generation indoor athletic facility that opened inside AEON Mall Makuhari Shintoshin.
