The Story of Snow that Became Night

2018
Only Image
Description: One day, Snow, feeling threatened by the fact that she would eventually melt away, became an earthworm. The earthworm longed for the world above ground and became a tree. As Snow keeps changing form in search of longing and strength, she one day recalls her former self. Work Overview Exciting, enchanting new encounters and experiences change from day to day, and the objects of our longing shift in the blink of an eye. When you step away from your present self for a moment and take things slowly from afar, sometimes you can think, “Well, that’s fine.” While the protagonist closely follows her own desires and changes rapidly, she never completely becomes someone else. With that in mind, I used clay to shape the characters and created the animation by gradually transforming them little by little.
