Graffiti AR

2020
00:01:03
“Rakugaki AR” is an app that brings to life the dream everyone has imagined: “What if the things I draw came to life...?” Whether it’s a doodle drawn in a notebook or on a whiteboard, when you scan it with this app, it comes to life and starts walking around in a virtual space through your smartphone. Feed it, poke it, and play around with your doodles brought to life. The iOS version was released early on Saturday, August 1, 2020, and reached 460,000 downloads within five days of launch. Thanks to being introduced by well-known manga artists and illustrators, it trended on Twitter, reaching No. 6, and it also took No. 1 on the paid app overall rankings in eight countries and regions around the world (Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia) for iPhone. It has also been featured by more than 50 web media outlets in Japan and abroad, as well as on multiple TV programs. It is also being exhibited for a limited time at the Kadokawa Musashino Museum. ROBOT VIEWING

2020
00:00:59
We developed “ROBOT VIEWING,” a system that allows people who find it difficult to visit events in person due to distance, time, disabilities, chronic conditions, or infection prevention measures to freely participate in events by remotely operating on-site robots from home online. With “ROBOT VIEWING,” multiple people, such as family members or acquaintances (currently up to five), can log in together, enjoy the event by operating a robot at the venue while video chatting, and communicate with people on-site through the robot’s speaker. The system also includes an online reservation and scheduling function, making it possible to flexibly schedule robot operation according to the event timetable and the number of units deployed. Going forward, we plan to add updates such as integration with a payment system and a function for projecting video on-site, and will develop this into a service that can be used not only for art exhibitions but also for product launch events and various indoor exhibition events. Special Exhibition "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" Warlord Maker

2019
00:00:53
As part of the promotion for the Special Exhibition “Romance of the Three Kingdoms,” held at the Tokyo National Museum starting Tuesday, July 9, we planned and developed “Bushi Maker” together with the exhibition team. Bushi Maker is a content experience that lets users upload a face photo, which is then combined with warrior visuals from Koei Tecmo Games’ “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” and “Dynasty Warriors” series to create a fictional warlord with a new “name” and “episode.” 　 40th Anniversary of the Japan-China Cultural Exchange Agreement Special Exhibition “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” Tokyo National Museum: Tuesday, July 9, 2019 – Monday, September 16, 2019 (national holiday) Kyushu National Museum: Tuesday, October 1, 2019 – Sunday, January 5, 2020

Description: For NHK General TV, we planned and produced a projection show as one segment of the NHK Special series “The Origins of Food” ~ The “Ideal Diet” Revealed by Human Evolution. To explore the origins of food-related themes, TOKIO members trace the history of evolution back to the ancestors of humankind in “The Origins of Food Time Machine,” which depicts the history of evolution. https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/ You can watch the broadcast projection show here. ◆ Part 1 https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/series/01/ ◆ Part 2 https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/series/02/ ◆ Part 3 https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/series/03/ ◆ Part 4 https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/shoku/series/04/ We also planned and produced the digital content “The Origins of Food Time Machine,” featured in the “What Is Delicious?” exhibition held at Shibuya Scramble Square, where visitors can actually experience the “600 Million-Year Journey of Food and Human Evolution” that TOKIO experienced in the program. https://www.nhk.or.jp/plusx/event/oishii/

At a workshop for the Salad Music Festival held at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre’s Theater West, we helped with the video playback system for “Virtual Orchestra,” an experiential content piece developed by Yamaha. The Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra performs in response to your conducting. This immersive conducting experience is made possible by Yamaha’s AI-based motion recognition and performance-following technology, along with Yamaha’s renowned multichannel surround sound. https://research.yamaha.com/ja/reports/salad-music-fes2019/

Description: For the special exhibition “The Human Body: A Challenge to the Mysteries,” held at the National Museum of Nature and Science in Ueno from March 13, 2018, we planned and produced the installation “Jintai NETWORK SYMPHONY.” Visitors can experience the beautiful, bustling “vast network within the human body” as revealed by the latest science. In conjunction with this exhibition period, we also produced special web content featuring a 3D simulation of the exhibit (PC only). Deja vu | KAMRA

2015
00:02:52
We produced an interactive music video for “Deja vu,” a track from “Artificial Emotions,” the new album by KAMRA, an artist gaining attention in the electro music scene. This is a cutting-edge interactive video in which your own face changes in sync with the music. By visiting the special website and using your PC camera to capture yourself, the detected face is separated and transformed into a variety of forms in time with the song’s sequence. In the music video, your own face is given expressions and emotions by the music, turning the viewer themselves into an embodiment of the album’s concept, “Artificial Emotions.” Through this experience, viewers come to “deja vu” a slightly transformed version of themselves. https://kamra.invisi-dir.com/
