Mizuho Financial Group - TV Commercial (Animated Version)

2025

I directed three TV commercials introducing the business of Mizuho Financial Group. The commercial features Natsuki Deguchi, and the music is by Kabanagu. This was my first time directing commercials, and with guidance from Masaki Ueda and the production team, I completed the project over a three-month process that included storyboarding, filming, and editing. I also created the motion design for the text myself.

The Open University of Japan | TV Commercial: Adults Who Want to Learn

2022
00:00:30
At The Open University of Japan, anyone with the desire to learn can begin from anywhere, regardless of academic ability. Students can study even a single subject in any field, whether in the humanities or sciences, and continue learning as far as they wish. Based on these features, and against the backdrop of current social trends and issues related to education, the phrase used in this promotion to express studying at the university is “a stage for learning.” The Open University of Japan was designed as a set for “a stage for learning” in blue tones. Actress Kanae Kimura narrates a story that begins with the first step into learning, while the changes that learning brings to life are expressed through fresh, vibrant “light.”
